Hello POF. Long time no see I guess :P
I haven't been on Pirates for MONTHS now and decided "I should go back on." because I really miss it. Although it isn't the same without the old crew, I guess everything is "okay". Anyways, I also made a Disney Movie Rewards a couple months back, and gained 325 points--exactly enough for a 30-day Pirates Online Ublimited Access Card. Now I'm making the best of it. I've gained two levels on my pirate, gained quite a few levels on my weapons, got my dagger and leveled it to 7 in 2 days so far, and I've had my membership... I think since last Friday? Not sure, but I'm just so ecstatic. My sister won a 30-day membership from the Pirates site once and she's level 20 but rarely ever logs on. I'm trying my best to get as high as I can before my time is up. And hey, maybe I'll get my it on Unlimted Access weekend  Sorry for the longness LOL |

You need to teach me how you see the "fun" in the repetitive grinding tasks they "force" us to do in order to improve.
If you ask me, it should be party-based EXP with dungeon "instanced" areas, so the game progression flow doesn't feel so... the same and just standing in front of an enemy that can only do 1 animation frame per 3-5 seconds. I think it was the old islands that kept me playing. That, and PvP. Forget about making another lv 50 pirate, you need to have time to waste to do that. But, hey, I'd take free unlimited access too and pvp again only. I see nothing else to do on the game besides SvS and PvP. Everything is just... the same. Nothing has been the same. My guild used to be so active and nearly all my friends that I've known since I began playing (2007) used to be on. But now? Now is nothing compared to then. I miss the old islands and the old music they had. But I lobe the padres and it's music :P
But ya, I've always dreamed of unlimited so I guess sone dreams easily cone true I just wish everyone--everyone--that I always played with on pirates back in 07 would come back on and we could honing those awesome glitches of ours where we'd hang out and joke around, and maybe kick some but haha. But nothing is the sane anymore. Disney is making everything way too new. We need to have everything old again. Take a permanent trip to the past. |
