Crash and Patch Looping?

I just downloaded the game and at first I wasn't even able to play it because it would finish patch five then once I hit play it would download patch five again.. It would do this over and over.

So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and was able to make a character and get through about ten minutes of the game before it crashed and now its back with that infinite Patch Five loop again.

Anyone have this problem? Moreso, does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: Ok.. I uninstalled and reinstalled it once again.. I was able to go in and set my settings and start a character.. I got to the part where I spoke to the witch doctor for the first time then shortly after that the game crashed.

Now, once again, when I go to play it.. It goes through Updating 5 of 5 and when its done it says "Play" but when I hit the "Play" button it just goes right back to Updating 5 of 5.

Does anyone have the SLIGHTEST clue as to what I could do to fix this? Could it be that I set the Shaders on or anything?

I really wanna try this game out.. From what I read, its the only one where you can actually have a crew run around on a ship.. I haven't seen this yet, but I'm eager to see if this could be the Pirate MMO for me!

If the game keep updating and back to the log in screen then most probably the download server is very busy due to so many other people also trying to download the game at the same time. This also happened to me a few times. You don't have to uninstall it. Just wait an hour or two before log in again or try in the morning or late night when not too many people playing or trying to download the game. Hope this helps.
