SVS Bugs
Lizzy isn't a pirate who indulges in alot of SVS. But during our guild event on Saturday in which BBK went up against PIC, she did notice 2 bugs that were encountered. The first was ship health. After our ship was repaired, her health dropped (the ship not Lizzy's). We noticed this about three different times during the event. We set sail with less than full health, but the health seemed to repair itself as we set sail to encounter the opposing ship. Now, being that the ship's health can be seen by the enemy, in this case the Spanish, we were thought to be doing something shall we say illegal. In reality, this was just some kind of a bug on POTCO over which we had no control. The second bug involved our ship getting hit and hit very hard by an invisible force. It was as though we had been hit by an explosive that rocked the entire ship. This happened about three times in a row and detracted greatly from the health of our ship. The crew did not see any incoming from the enemy each time this occured. Again, it was assumed that the enemy was doing something untoward when , in reality they also were doing nothing wrong and had no control over the events. I imagine there are many more bugs in SVS that we are not aware of. But because of pirates in the game that do glitch during SVS, everyone's first instinct is that the other side is engaging in such a glitch. Well, after talking this out after the SVS, we now realize that these things were only some sort of system bugs. But people's immediate conclusion to such weird happenings is, I feel, a direct result of past gliching during SVS, which has caused a kinna paranoia syndrome while playing. Fortunately, pirates can relate to each other and come to the realization that such strange events are just bugs in the system. So SVS on ye pirates, and don't forget the bug repellant for the pesky things!

good to know
Thanks for sharing that Lizzy,
Initially, I would have jumped to a "glitch abuse" conclusion. not that it doesn't happen, but thank you for the moment of clarity in regards to SVS. Truly a sobering perspective you offered. I needed that, the glitches are what kept me from participating. Best Regards, |

aye very well put Lizzy gurl. Found out as also that our "enemy" was having the same thing happen to them as well. Knowing that BBK was like that, they quickly dismissed it as a glitch in the game. All has been taking care of and we are all good. Cannt wait for next months event, maybe BBK will prevail again against PIC

Lizzy, I noticed that happened to us as well while svsing. Get hit and no one was around! I even got off the cannon and ran around the ship to look but no one was near us. We were trying to repair and while we could see both the french and spanish isles no one was near us. Like you said it was like some kind of invisible force that hit us. I cracked a joke saying maybe the Kraken was under the ship, lol! But I had all sorts of problems last while svsing. This was just one of many. Kani of Spartan Ellite
