Well really mates, I just posted that stuff to poke fun. I don't seriously consider them to be "noobs".
These are GM figures. Yes, just that: figures. They're actors behind a screen. You don't expect them to have epic skills or something because they don't use them. POTCO sets them that way to make them look intimidating, then go on their merry way. To be honest, they have a sword and a few other weapons Disney gave them so they can act properly. Think of them as the Disney World characters, aye?

lol it would be cool if the royal navy had their own man-of-war ship nametag and stuff ( since they are a light sloop there ship should be called a navy ferret)

They're 100% right...having a light sloop does not make you a "noob"...
Want to know why? Let Wolfie spin ye a yarn quick... In another game called Freelancer, which is a space fighter arcade-like FPS with elements of RPG, we used to set up a spot for the pilots to duel it out in 'The Ring'...well one of our friends would come and 85-90% of the time win with his small level 5 ship against pilots with high level, fully loaded with the best weapons ships... The ship he'd use is not unlike that of a small sloop...very fast and can turn on a dime...whereas the bigger ships have a bigger turn radius, and obviously are slower...I'm betting you that if you put a very skilled Captain in command of a small sloop, he'd beat out any ship...gun & run, circling, etc...the small sloop has an edge...and in the right hands can be devastating... |

Not to mention light sloop SvSers... as much as they annoy the heck outta me, they are quite skilled... but cowardly and annoying. I still hate them, and in my opinion they ruin SvS... anyway, part of that reason is also that the light sloops are such small targets that most War Ships would have trouble sinking them with their broadsides flying over them. And its harder for the gunners too.
